Project description

You'll be an integral member of our team, dedicated to creating a highly available, high-performing, and adaptive job application platform.

Your Mission:

  • Your main focus will be the candidate-facing frontend that presents jobs to applicants, powered by a headless CMS.

  • You will be responsible for implementing the frontend modules for the end-user-facing application, the frontend of the job management platform for recruiters and content editors, and the APIs and integrations that feed them.

  • With your technical expertise, you'll be hands-on across the stack, from crafting polished, performant user interfaces to building the user-friendly APIs that support them.

  • You'll join an agile team that values shared code ownership, pair programming, and thorough code reviews.

  • As you design and implement solutions, you'll benefit from the support of your peers and provide support in return.

Project requirements

Your technical expertise:

  • Strong experience building frontend applications with React and its modern ecosystem (Hooks, component composition, state management)

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with a solid command of HTML and CSS

  • Experience with component-driven architecture, design systems, and reusable UI libraries

  • Experience integrating and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs from the frontend

  • A strong eye for frontend performance, including Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, and server-side rendering or static generation with Next.js

  • Commitment to accessibility (WCAG) and responsive, cross-browser design

  • Experience with automated testing, including unit and end-to-end tests (e.g. Jest, Vitest, Playwright, or Cypress)

  • Working knowledge of backend and full-stack development with Node.js, and databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and serverless application stacks, including deploying and scaling web applications

  • Good understanding of software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Kanban, and experience with tools like Jira

  • Experience collaborating with git repositories, following semantic commit conventions

  • Experience with monitoring and setting up dashboards for application performance management with tools like Datadog

  • Willingness to attend in-person workshops in Salzburg / Austria

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience with headless content management systems

  • Experience with multi-tenant systems

  • Experience with Apollo GraphQL

  • Experience with OpenSearch for advanced querying features

  • Knowledge of CQRS and Event Sourcing patterns

  • Experience with content distribution networks like Akamai

  • Familiarity with managing infrastructure as code with Terraform
